We Come to Your Venue
There’s no need to work out how the whole class and all the cousins are getting into Belfast city centre. At a Makes and Bakes Slime Party we come to you. We are able to come out to anywhere in Northern Ireland to run an event. If you have a larger group and would prefer to hire a venue, we have a list of local leisure centres and halls where you can rent a space.
Hard Floors Are Best
When it comes to making slime we are experts and therefore we always recommend doing the workshop in a non-carpeted room. Slime only really sticks to some fibres so it will come straight off lino, wood or tile. Most people choose the kitchen as the room to run the slime party in.
Wear Old Clothes
When you are sending out invitations its best if you tell kids to wear old clothes, or clothes that they don’t mind getting messy. This isn’t our first rodeo and we are great at keeping mess under control. However, we find kids enjoy the workshop better if they don’t have to worry about getting slime on their good top!
Tie Back Long Hair
This is another tip that you should include on your invitations. Putting long hair in a plait or ponytail will prevent anyone from getting slime in their hair. Kids can change into good clothes or take down their hair if they are doing something else after the workshop.
All You Need are Chairs and a Table
Each workshop is fully equipped with everything we need to make slime. So that means we bring bowls, spoons and all the materials we need. All you need to provide is a suitable space to do the workshop along with tables and chairs for your guests.

Nothing puts a dampener on a great party like slime all over the car seats! At a Makes and Bakes Slime Party all your guests will get a resealable pack to keep their slime in so it doesn’t dry out. They can take it home with them and play with their slime again and again.

At any Makes and Bakes workshop we love to see how people personalise what they make and our slime party is no different! Guest can put their own spin on their slime with colours, glitters and other seasonal add ins like foam. Choosing how to customise your creation is the most fun!
Young Children Need Extra Supervision
Our slime workshop is suitable for most children however, children under primary school age will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can supervise them. This helps us all to ensure every child has enough support to carry out the activity in a safe and fun way.
