Makes and Bakes Terms and Conditions FOR

ALL BOOKINGS AND CLUBS

• No food, drink or gum may be consumed during any workshops unless stated by Makes and Bakes staff.
• Participants must wash their hands before and after taking part in the workshop.
• The customer must insure that surfaces are washed before and after the workshop.
• No person may participate in a workshop with an exposed, open wound.
• All safety advice and instructions given by Makes and Bakes staff must be followed.
• The customer is responsible for supervising all participants, ensuring that participants follow all instructions given by Makes and Bakes staff, and behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times.
• If Makes and Bakes staff do not believe that the customer is performing their duty to supervise the participants behaviour in what, Makes and Bakes staff believe to be a satisfactory manor, Makes and Bakes reserves the right to exclude any participant or warn any participant that they may be excluded from the activity if their disruptive or unsafe behaviour persists.
• Makes and Bakes reserve the right to stop any participant from taking part in the workshop immediately and without notice if staff believe they pose a danger to themselves or others, pose a danger to property or are significantly disruptive to the workshop.
• If Makes and Bakes staff believe that participant behaviour is too disruptive or unsafe and decide to exclude any participant, or stop or pause the workshop, the customer is still liable for the full cost of the workshop.
• The Customer will be fully responsible for any loss, theft or damage caused by the Customer, their participant guests or any other attendees at the event in relation to Makes & Bakes’ equipment or employees/contractors, howsoever caused.
• The customer is responsible for making Makes and Bakes aware of any allergies of persons present. Makes and Bakes aims to provide allergen free alternatives, however, Makes and Bakes cannot guarantee that any workshop is totally free of allergens. Therefore, Makes and Bakes cannot accept any liability for any allergic reactions as a result of the workshop or any materials or equipment used.
• Makes and Bakes do not tolerate any abuse towards their staff, be it physical or verbal. Any customer or persons present at the event engaging in disrespectful or abusive behaviour towards staff will be asked to leave. The customer will still be liable to pay the full cost of the workshop.
• Makes and Bakes prepares for the guest numbers stated by the customer at the time of booking. If less participants take part in the workshop on the day Makes and Bakes reserve the right to charge for the original guest numbers. If more guests arrive than previously arranged Makes and Bakes may not be able to accommodate extra participants. If extra participants can be accommodated the original price will be amended to reflect the extra participants.

ADDITIONAL MAKES AND BAKES TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CORPORATE BOOKINGS

• No food, drink or gum must not be consumed during workshops unless otherwise stated by Makes and Bakes staff.

• Participants must wash their hands before and after the workshop and particularly before eating.

• Surfaces should be washed before and after the workshop.

• No person may participate in a workshop with an exposed open wound.

• All safety advice and instructions given by Makes and Bakes staff must be followed.

• Makes and Bakes reserve the right to stop any participant from taking part in the workshop immediately and without notice if staff believe they pose a danger to themselves or others.

• Makes and Bakes reserve the right to stop any participant from taking part in the workshop after one warning if staff consider the participant to be significantly disruptive to the workshop.

• Makes and Bakes reserve the right to stop the workshop immediately and without notice if staff believe there is a danger to any person present.

• The Customer will be fully responsible for any loss, theft or damage caused by the Customer or their guests or other attendees at the event in relation to Makes & Bakes’ equipment or employees/contractors howsoever caused.

• The customer is responsible for making Makes and Bakes aware of any allergies of persons present. Where possible Makes and Bakes will provide appropriate alternatives.

ADDITIONAL MAKES AND BAKES TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CLUBS & EVENTS

• All payments for clubs and events should be made in advance of any participants attendance.

• We reserve the right to exclude any participant who has not paid.

• We reserve the right to exclude any participant that Makes and Bakes staff deem to be behaving in a way that is unsafe or disruptive.
